My client in Greater London are looking to appoint a talented Welfare Policy Manager on a Contract basis.

The post holder will assess the current functions undertaken by the Council's Financial Support Team and consider the options for delivering an improved Service.

What's on offer:

  • Salary: £380 per day, inside IR35

*negotiable based on experience

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

  • Inform a collaborative design of a new integrated service model to support residents experiencing financial hardship
  • Draft a project plan to support Service improvements
  • Provide the Officers with a point of contact to input into the review and highlight opportunities for improvements

About you:You will have the following experiences:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role
  • Significant experience of Project Management
  • Experience of planning project activities, estimating resource needs
  • Local Authority experience is essential
