You will be instrumental in delivering excellence and supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Assistant Team Leader:

  • Assist the Team Leader in developing and implementing an interview and recruitment strategy to enrol young people on the Prince's Trust Team programme.
  • Support in supervising and participating in the planning and delivery of the programme, ensuring compliance with the Prince's Trust standards.
  • Verify portfolio assessments and provide constructive feedback to participants.
  • Collaborate in ensuring the inclusiveness and appropriateness of the programme’s Scheme of Work.
  • Manage quality assurance processes and meet internal and external verification deadlines.
  • Report on participants' attendance, behaviour, and progress.
  • Organise enrichment activities and ensure effective completion of work placements.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders including employers, parents/carers, and support services.
  • Contribute to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the ATL role:

  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by young people within The Trust’s target groups.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working directly with young people with Challenging behavior and NEET needs
  • Strong awareness of equal opportunities and health and safety practices.
  • Level 2 in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Proficient in using IT tools such as email, internet, and office software.
