At this SEMH all-through school, they are dedicated to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our students, helping them overcome challenges, and empowering them to achieve their full potential.


What You'll Do as a Behaviour support assistant:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualised behaviour plans.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Encourage and model positive behaviour, helping students develop social and emotional skills.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • A compassionate and patient individual with a strong desire to support children with SEMH needs.
  • Experience working in a school setting or with young people is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.
