GSL Education London Branch are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join one of their client schools in Lewisham. Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Assistant:

  • Support students with behavioural needs in KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Help create and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers to manage classroom behaviour.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students when needed.
  • Assist in developing and implementing behaviour management plans.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions.

Requirements of a Behaviour Support Assistant:

  • Experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
  • Ability to support students in KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
