Admin Support Officer

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to ensure that the day-to-day operational activities of the Education Welfare Service run effectively and efficiently.

To be responsible for the payment of invoices

Main Responsibilities

1. Responsible for processing Education Welfare Service referral forms and dealing with any general enquiries.

2. Responsible for the issuing of Fixed Penalty Notices.

3. Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and analysing the data for all Fixed Penalty Notices

4. Working closely with the Elective Home Education team, maintaining the Elective Home Education list and ensuring processes are followed in a timely manner.

5. To prepare and write reports and letters and carry out administrative duties related to the post.

Experience

Experience of administrative functions

Experience of working with the public

Experience of providing excellent administrative support ideally in a complex or regulated environment delivering high quality services

Experience of IT systems and how they support service delivery.

Experience of delivering service improvements through a programme of continuous provision

Experience of responding to simple enquiry from the public

Excellent oral and written communication skills
