About the Role:
As an Adults Safeguarding Social Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a complex caseload of safeguarding concerns, conducting thorough assessments and investigations.
- Developing and implementing care plans to protect vulnerable adults from abuse and neglect.
- Working collaboratively with partner agencies, including health, police, and voluntary organisations.
- Providing advice and support to individuals, families, and professionals on safeguarding matters.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Representing the council at multi-agency meetings and court proceedings.
About You:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in adults safeguarding.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
- Excellent assessment and investigative skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to promoting the well-being 1 of vulnerable adults.
