Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) to work within Wandsworth Council.

Job Purpose

  • To undertake statutory MHA assessments for the boroughs of Richmond and Wandsworth, complying with legislation and relevant codes of practice.
  • To screen referrals.
  • To participate on the "late worker" rota.
  • To work collaboratively with internal and external partner agencies.
  • To adhere to all SSA's policies and procedures.
  • To promote equality, diversity, inclusion and strength-based practice.
  • To understand duties and responsibilities for safeguarding children, young people and adults.
  • To comply with the AMHP Regulations 2008.
  • To undertake relevant training and participate in the AMHP Reflective Group Practice/AMHP Forums.
  • To act as a Social Supervisor as required.
  • To provide support and guidance to AMHP trainees.

You will need to be:

  • SWE registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
