AMHP-Hybrid - Up to £56,395 - ASAP interview

NonStop Care are working with a well established local authority in the South East, Berkshire area, who are looking for an experienced AMHP to join their Adult mental health service. The ideal candidate will be keen to join their small, close knit team which prioritises the balance of Rights, Justice and positive risk taking.

This team supports hybrid working options, allowing you to manage your own diary and maximise your time spent in the comfort of your own home, helping you to create a fantastic work life balance.

Responsibilities of this position include;

  • The screening, triage, and undertake assessments often in complex, crisis situations with complex levels of risk.
  • Plan for informal admissions and applications for compulsory admission and guardianship, as per the outcome of the assessment.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with service users, nearest relatives, carers, other professionals, agencies, organisations, and volunteers.
  • Help identify alternatives to compulsory admissions under the Mental Health Act, working across local services to support patients and their families.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work & Social Work England registration
  • A drivers license
  • An up to date DBS check
