Our client, a leading homelessness charity based in London, are looking for a Homeless Assessment and Resettlement Worker to work in their busy homeless assessment centre based in London. Due to an internal staff promotions, a positions have become available for workers to assess rough sleepers referred to services by street outreach teams and other alternative referral pathways including Street Link and local authority.Candidates for this role will need:路 Extensive housing knowledge and knowledge of the entitlement homeless clients have under different housing laws/ acts路 Experience of working with the homeless路 Experience of working in a homeless assessment capacity路 Resettlement experience and knowledge of housing options路 DBS within 12 months of issue or on the online update serviceCandidate duties:路 Offering advice and guidance on housing and resettlement related issues to clients路 Overseeing the casework delivery for around 20 clients within the hostel/assessment hub. 路 Conducting needs and risk assessments and putting in place support plans路 Presenting clients with resettlement options路 Assisting clients to obtain their welfare, housing and related rights路 Referring clients on to relevant specialist support agencies for their needs路 Accurate recording of data into CHAIN路 Liaising with external agencies on behalf of clientsPay: PAYE - 拢15+Holiday Pay = 拢16.81 Umbrella - 拢19
