An Attendance Officer is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School in South London.


This Attendance Officer position will be full time and long term with scope to go permanent.


Working hours will be 8am to 4pm for this Attendance Officer post. This includes an unpaid 30 minute break.


If appointed as an Attendance Officer, your duties will include but not be limited to:


* Record, maintain and update data for attendance and punctuality of pupils
* Communicate with parents and carers of pupils in regard to absence, when necessary
* Work with the wider team to effectively resolve issues that cause pupils absences
* Contact the Local Authority when needed
* Reach out to Primary schools of new pupils in Year 7 to track attendance records


The rates of pay for this Attendance Officer role will range from 100 to 170 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each applicant.

Personal Development is rated as 'Outstanding'.

Working closely with the associated 6th Form in the area, the team is looking to ensure a smooth transition for pupils that complete their GCSEs and move on to A Levels.

MFL is the schools specialism, with Chinese and English being taught to all Key Stage 3 pupils.

Clubs and extracurricular activities at the school include; Volleyball, Football, Chess, Anime/Comics, ICT, Art, Basketball, Boardgames, Theatre, Cooking, Music, Science, Athletics, Boxing, English and Japanese.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you're an entry level Attendance Officer or experienced Attendance Officer.

You're also encouraged to apply if you are a British trained Attendance Officer or overseas trained Attendance Officer.

* Right to work in the UK
* UK QTS or overseas equivalent
