An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Mental Health Practitioner to join the NHS team in Central London. This role is ideal for a mental health professional with essential perinatal experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a meaningful impact on service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, care planning, and interventions for individuals with mental health needs.
  • Manage a small caseload, ensuring person-centred care and risk management strategies are implemented effectively.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to support recovery-focused outcomes.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, psychoeducation, and support to individuals and their families.
  • Act as an advocate for service users and provide supervision for non-qualified staff.
  • Support the integration of mental health knowledge across community teams.
Role Requirements:
  • Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., NMC, HCPC).
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health care delivery, ideally within community settings.
  • Perinatal mental health experience is essential.
  • Strong communication, risk assessment, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation.
