Position: Behaviour Mentor

About The School:

They are a dedicated community that supports students with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other challenging behaviours to achieve their fullest potential.

Role Overview:

They are currently seeking a passionate and committed Behaviour Mentor to join their team. The ideal candidate will work closely with students, guiding them through daily challenges, helping them navigate their emotions, and assisting them in developing crucial social skills.

Key Responsibilities:

路 Provide one-on-one and group support to students, facilitating their emotional and behavioural development.

路 Collaborate with teaching staff, ensuring the holistic development of the student is prioritised.

路 Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs.

路 Monitor, evaluate, and report student progress regularly.

路 Attend training sessions and staff meetings, contributing to the ongoing development of strategies and approaches.

路 Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for students at all times.

Requirements:

路 Prior experience working with students with EBD, SEMH, or challenging behaviours.

路 Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

路 Resilience, patience, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.

路 Enhanced DBS check.

路 Relevant qualifications or training would be advantageous but not essential.
