Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a school in Hackney. This role involves supporting students who face challenges with behavior, helping them to develop positive strategies, and promoting a constructive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students exhibiting challenging behavior
  • Implement tailored strategies to manage and improve student behavior
  • Work closely with the pastoral and SEN teams to ensure consistent support
  • Act as a positive male role model, inspiring students to engage positively
  • Support teachers in maintaining a productive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people with challenging behavior, ideally in a school setting
  • Strong understanding of behavior management strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient in the face of challenges
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
