Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join this supportive alternative education provider in central London. This is a full time, long-term role starting in January for the rest of the academic year *upon review there will be an opportunity to go permanent.

The role:

  • Working with students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Supporting positive behaviour and emotional literacy
  • Encouraging and promoting student engagement in learning activities
  • Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student
  • Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and outside agencies
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements

As Behaviour Mentor you will need:

  • Experience of supporting children and young people with SEBD/SEMH
  • Open-minded, positive and friendly approach
  • A caring and professional manner
  • Must have legal right to work in the UK
