The Recruitment Crowd are currently looking for an experienced Care Coordinator to work closely together with a small friendly office team and team of carers in Wandsworth.

The role includes

  • Coordinating carers’ and customers’ schedules.
  • Responding to existing customers and carers.
  • Handling new potential customer enquiries and matching these to carers’ availabilities.
  • Recruitment and interviewing of new carers.
  • Carrying out carer supervisions/appraisals and administrative tasks.
  •  Ensuring compliance/ policies and procedures.

In addition, we are seeking candidates with the following capabilities:

  • Care coordinating experience.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to engage quickly, effectively and in a friendly, professional manner with anyone.
  • Computer literate – ability to use Access People Planner and Access Care Planning (respectively our rostering and electronic care management systems), as well as being confident using all Microsoft Office 365 software.
  • Highly accurate, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Well-organised, and a good time manager, able to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Real-time problem-solving skills, intelligent and comfortable with working under time pressure.
  • Good office administration/filing; enthusiastic and happy to “muck-in” with all office tasks and activities.
  • Live within the London Borough of Wandsworth, or close by.

The salary will be based on experience/capability, in the range £25,000-£27,000 per annum. 

Office hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, plus on call on a rotational basis with other members of the office team; for each week of on call undertaken there is an additional half a day holiday entitlement.
