Job Title:Case Worker

Location: North London

Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours

Rate of Pay: £18 P/H (Umbrella)

We are currently looking for an experienced Case Worker to work across the North London area, to provide tenancy sustainment services to people aged 18 and over who are recovering from homelessness and have a range of support needs.

Main Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of up to 35 clients, conducting regular sessions and co-producing support, safety, and move-on plans based on client's needs.
  • Assess and manage client risks, working with housing providers and support services to develop effective risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with agencies to ensure clients access relevant statutory and non-statutory services, accompanying them to appointments when necessary.
  • Support clients in improving their health, well being, and social inclusion through access to health care, education, training, and community activities, while addressing safeguarding concerns as needed.

The Candidate:

  • Strong understanding of client needs, including mental and physical health, drug/alcohol use, safeguarding, tenancy support, and financial inclusion, with experience in assessment, safety planning, and move-on support.
  • Skilled in using personalised assessment tools and trauma-informed approaches, including motivational interviewing, to provide effective casework and support planning.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with service providers and agencies to enhance services and successfully support clients in transitioning to independent living, including resettlement and tenancy management.
