Children's Social Worker
**Key Responsibilities:**- Manage Child Protection and Child in Need cases.- Conduct Section 47 investigations and Child and Family Assessments.- Develop Child Protection Plans and participate in multi-agency meetings.- Attend court and provide reports as required.- Collaborate with families to promote children's welfare.- Maintain accurate case management records (e.g., MOSAIC).- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
**About You:** We seek a dedicated Qualified Social Worker with experience in statutory children’s services and a strong understanding of safeguarding legislation.
**Essential Criteria:**- SWE registration.- Significant experience in Child Protection and statutory social work.- Proven ability to manage complex caseloads and court work.- Familiarity with Child Protection Plans and multi-agency collaboration.- Experience with case management systems (e.g., MOSAIC).- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.- Previous local authority experience.
This role offers limited work-from-home flexibility and requires regular office attendance, capped at £37 per hour (umbrella). Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide 5 years of references.
