About the role

The Community Organising team is key to our strategic goal of building a powerful movement. Which will ensure that by 2030, more individuals and communities , especially those with less social power are empowered with the connections, resources, protection, and determination to stand up for their rights and the rights of their communities.

The Community Organiser for Local Activism is responsible for enabling, connecting, and empowering more communities throughout the UK to use their skills, connections, knowledge, and passion to organise and campaign together for positive human rights change.

  • You're skilled in building intersectional collective power
  • You can convene and connect diverse communities to campaign on human rights
  • You collaborate and positively contribute to an inclusive culture.
  • You also have a good knowledge of community organising
  • You can undertake regular travel and can work outside of normal hours on occasions usually planned with prior notice
