NonStop our working with a local authority based in North London who are seeking a Social Worker for the Safeguarding and Support Team, which is is dedicated to providing high-quality services to vulnerable children and families, prioritising their safety and well-being. With five dedicated teams led by experienced Team Managers, each overseeing up to six social workers, we focus on safeguarding, assessment, and proactive intervention to address complex needs and foster positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver High-Quality Casework: Provide consistent, high-quality casework that safeguards vulnerable children and supports families in achieving well-being.
  • Conduct Thorough Assessments: Carry out comprehensive assessments, including section 47 enquiries, to accurately identify the needs and risks faced by children and families.
  • Develop and Manage Plans: Formulate and oversee SMART plans for Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC), ensuring they are well-supported for positive development.
  • Maintain Professional Standards: Engage in regular supervision and uphold high standards of practice to continuously improve and align with best practices.
