- On-site role, split between head office and schools
- Salary to £50k for the right experience
- Extensive child safeguarding experience required
- Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) across all sites.
- Handle safeguarding cases and referrals, working closely with social services and external partners.
- Attend child protection conferences and strategy meetings.
- Conduct staff inductions, oversee CP/CIN/CLA cases, and lead training sessions.
- Maintain and use school systems for documentation and tracking.
- Support attendance initiatives and foster engagement with families.
- Unwavering commitment to pupil welfare and safeguarding.
- Proven experience working with students with complex SEMH needs.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and ICT skills.
- Resilient, reflective, and collaborative, with the ability to manage high-pressure situations.
- Proven safeguarding experience as a DDSL or similar.
- Relevant degree (minimum) and safeguarding qualifications (desirable).
- Qualified social worker status is an advantage.
