- Actively network with internal key stakeholders such as the Disabled Staff Forum, developing effective working relationships and establishing positive lines of communication with a solution-focussed approach.
- Oversee annual programme of events to raise awareness of disability and long-term health conditions linked to support for staff and managers
- Promote Islington’s CARE values and an inclusive workplace culture, sharing expertise, good practice and relevant knowledge, skills and experience.
- Lead logistics and delivery of process for workplace adjustments, working alongside internal partners such as Health & Safety, Digital Services and Facilities to establish consistent communication and coordination of resources.
- Deliver sessions to employees and managers around arranging workplace adjustments, to support well-being and promoting an inclusive working culture
- Educated to degree level or equivalent / or have substantial relevant work experience in supporting people with a range of long-term health conditions/disabilities.
- Evidence of up-to-date knowledge of health, wellbeing and disability-related legislation, government initiatives and funding packages
