This North London Authority are looking for an Education Welfare Officer. Details of the role are:
To work with families, schools, and other agencies within the framework of child protection procedures to promote the welfare and safety of young people.
To assist the education authority and schools in developing implementing and monitoring policies and practise to secure improved attendance at school and to support the agenda for raising the achievement of pupils.
To apply for this role you must have:
- A relevant graduate degree or equivalent of working with school aged children and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Have experience of Court Work to enforce legislation, processing and issuing of fixed penalty notices.
- Be eligible to work within the UK
