GSL Education London Branch is searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher to join a fantastic Secondary School & Sixth Form in Hackney. Responsibilities:- Teach BTEC National in Health and Social Care (Level 3) and A-Level Psychology (AQA).
- Deliver engaging lessons in BTEC Tech Award in Health & Social Care (Level 1/2) and GCSE Psychology, if required.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Assess, track, and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and inspired.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- UK-recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching BTEC National in Health and Social Care (Level 3) and A-Level Psychology (AQA).
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A proactive approach to planning and delivering the curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
