Our Client Lambeth Council, is looking for an Independent Reviewing Officer to join their Child Protection team.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POST IS FOR A CP CONFERENCE CHAIR ROLE

The Independent Child Protection Conference Service provides a vital quality assurance role in safeguarding Children at risk of significant harm in Lambeth. Child protection conference chairs works closely with SWs, families and other agencies to build a child protection plan that is purposeful and safeguards the children.

Its hybrid at the moment.

ICPCs are face to face review conferences are virtual

CP chairs only need to attend the office for ICPC but no other expectation to work in the office.

Skills and Experience.

1. Minimum 3 years direct experience of chairing child protection conferences

2. Previous management experience working within child safeguarding services

3. Skills of multi-agency working, developing child focused CP plans, understanding of dispute resolution and escalation process and challenging professional agencies.
