Job Title: Lead Mobile Developer

Allegiance Group are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mobile Developer to spearhead the development of a brand-new iOS application, with plans to expand to Android shortly. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a project from the ground up, shaping both the technical architecture and the future of the product.
As the Lead Mobile Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and delivering a high-quality mobile experience for our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a new iOS application from concept to release.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code in Swift and Objective-C.
- Mentor and guide junior developers within the team.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure code quality.
- Stay up to date with the latest mobile development trends and best practices.
- Ensure smooth integration with backend services and APIs.
- Play a key role in the Android rollout, collaborating with the Android development team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Lead iOS Developer or Senior Developer, with strong expertise in Swift and Objective-C.
- Solid understanding of iOS frameworks and design principles (UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, etc.).
- Experience with mobile app architecture and best practices for performance and optimisation.
- Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Firebase) for mobile app backend integration.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Previous experience in launching apps on the App Store and Google Play Store.
