Lead Practitioner - Customer Finance Team (Adult Social Care)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Practitioner to join the Customer Finance team within Adult Social Care. This role is vital in providing high-quality social work practice and leadership, ensuring professional standards are upheld while supporting individuals to maintain their health, wellbeing, and independence.

As a Lead Practitioner, you will manage a small, complex caseload while conducting Mental Capacity Act assessments in line with statutory guidance. You will be responsible for completing relevant Court of Protection documents and working closely with the Debt Team to establish debt repayment plans. The role also involves chairing safeguarding meetings and other multidisciplinary meetings as required, ensuring that safeguarding principles are embedded effectively within the service.

This position requires a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England and experienced in complex case management, risk assessments, and outcome-based support planning. Strong knowledge of adult social care legislation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor and develop colleagues are essential.

This is a full-time, hybrid-working role offering a blend of office and remote work, along with a supportive team environment. Laptops, mobile phones, and IT training will be provided to facilitate seamless working.
