Learning Disabilities Practitioner Manager London Borough of Lambeth are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Learning Disabilities Practitioner Manager looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. This Learning Disabilities Practitioner Manager role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.Learning Disabilities Practitioner Manager Responsibilities include:
- Supervise up to 8 Social Workers/assessors in the Adult Learning Disabilities Team.
- Ensure that statutory assessments and reviews are assigned and completed within expected performance targets and quality standards.
- Participate in the Community Duty rota.
- Proactive in promoting anti-discriminatory practices and supporting council policy.
- Provide line management of front-line operational services which includes the provision a comprehensive assessment and case management service to vulnerable adults.
- Lead on the delivery of safe services for services users, including investigating, chairing, and reviewing adult safeguarding episodes as appropriate
Experience preferred:
- The Practitioner Manager will need to be a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England and have significant post qualifying experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- SWE Registration
- 3 year post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
