Are you an experienced Mental Health Social Worker looking for a role with flexibility and professional growth? A local authority in South West London is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join their Mental Health Reviews Team.
About the Role:As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in assessing and reviewing the social care needs of adults with less complex mental health needs, helping them achieve independence and improved well-being. You will undertake initial mental health assessments and work closely with individuals to ensure they receive the right support.
?? Hybrid Working - Work 4 days from home and attend the office 1 day a week for duty.
Key Responsibilities:? Conduct strength-based assessments to promote independence and well-being? Undertake Mental Capacity Act (MCA) assessments and apply relevant legislation? Lead on complex casework and provide supervisory support to junior staff? Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to develop personalised care plans? Ensure compliance with the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act, and safeguarding procedures
What We're Looking For:? Social Work England registration (essential)? Extensive Mental Health Social Work experience? Strong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and ability to complete MCA assessments? Supervisory experience and ability to support junior team members? An Enhanced DBS check will be required
