Neighbourhood Team Social Worker

London Borough of Camden are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Neighbourhood Team Social Worker looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. As well as joining a supportive team our client also offers a competitive salary, flexible work times, opportunities to work remotely and a chance to develop your skills. This Neighbourhood Team Social Worker role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.

Neighbourhood Team Social Worker responsibilities:

  • Carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries
  • Providing advice to the public, partner agencies and regulated care providers in relation to safeguarding concerns
  • Completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports
  • Liaising with other professionals
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Holding cases
  • Working with people at risk, and people who have caused harm.
  • Attending multidisciplinary meetings
  • Completing referrals to relevant agencies for support

Minimum requirements / Experience preferred:

  • Post qualifying experience of working as a Neighbourhood Team Social Worker or within a Locality Team.
  • SWE Registration
  • 3 year post qualifying experience within UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
