Qualified Social Worker - Family Help Service
Salary: Up to 51,127 per annum (subject to experience) + Benefits
Location: Wandsworth, London
Contract: Permanent (36 hours per week)

About the Team
The Family Help Service provides early and consistent intervention to children and families, focusing on building strong, trust-based relationships to create lasting change.
- Work in small, supportive teams of five social workers with manageable caseloads.
- Co-located with multi-disciplinary professionals, including Adult Mental Health Practitioners, Substance Misuse and Domestic Abuse Specialists, Family Therapists, and CAMHS Social Care teams.
- Partner with families to co-produce Child and Family Assessments and implement plans under Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings frameworks.
- Champion family-led interventions rooted in systemic practice and trauma-informed approaches.
As a Qualified Social Worker in the Family Help Service, you will:
- Build strong, meaningful relationships with children and families to identify their strengths and areas for growth.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions that empower families to thrive while ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
- Collaborate across voluntary and statutory agencies to ensure holistic support tailored to individual needs.
- Contribute to multi-agency plans, attending strategy meetings and court proceedings as required.
- Actively participate in reflective spaces and working groups to influence and implement best practices within the service.

Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification (degree or diploma).
- Registered with the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., Social Work England).
- Proven experience in a social work role (children's services)
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work practice.
