Qualified Social Worker - Homes for Ukraine Team

London Borough of Camden are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Social Worker looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. As well as joining a supportive team our client also offers a competitive salary, flexible work times, opportunities to work remotely and a chance to develop your skills. This Adults Homes for Ukraine Team role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking adult and child safeguarding checks
  • Undertaking screening calls to Sponsors
  • Undertaking assessment visits to Sponsors to determine the suitability of the sponsor and their accommodation.
  • Supporting sponsors with DBS applications
  • Providing case management support to guests who have moved in with sponsors.

Experience preferred:

  • Post qualifying experience of working within an Adults Locality Team or Safeguarding Team.

The Team:

  • Well-structured organised team, growing their social worker staffing levels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • HCPC Registration
  • 3 year post qualifying experience within UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
