We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker in the Preparing for Adulthood Team within Hackney. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Social Worker includes:

  • Caseload of up to 20 adults
  • Have knowledge and expertise in understanding and carrying out responsibilities under the Care Act, including undertaking safeguarding enquiries under s42, mental capacity act ideally with experience of managing adults subject to proceedings in the court of protection.
  • To undertake s9 care act assessments, person centred care and support plans, reviews, safeguarding enquiries
  • Evidence effective case management, purposeful evidence based interventions, analytical assessments and high quality written work.
  • To work flexibly in a hybrid way; from home, hackney service centre, and see adults face to face in care homes and their own homes.

To ideal candidate will have:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
