CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A SERVICE FOCUSED SOLELY ON CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES* Social Worker

DCYPS Rate- £37.00 (this is not negotiable, please ensure your candidates have agreed to this rate as there is no senior role available) Hybrid working- Candidates are required to attend the office once a week and on duty week (office is based at Newham Dockside) Social Workers in Children with Disabilities are readily required to liaise with health and education professionals to develop support packages for children with complex needs. The ability to understand and navigate multi-agency systems and processes is essential. Social Work in Newham is underpinned by a culture of Systemic and Restorative practice with high quality relationships at the heart of our approach. Our DCYPS teams provide statutory services to children and families who live with disability. You will work a varied caseload, including but not restricted to new referrals, CiN, CP, and looked after cases. This is often long term, rewarding work; focusing on sustaining an improved quality of life for the young people and families you work with.
