Responsibilities include:
- Conducting in-depth evaluations of clients to assess their mental health requirements.
- Performing mental capacity evaluations in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and submitting applications for Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) when appropriate, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks and the protection of individuals' rights.
- Providing immediate crisis intervention and support in urgent situations.
- Keeping precise, organised, and up-to-date records of client assessments, interventions, and care plans, ensuring all documentation adheres to local authority policies and legal obligations.
Requirements:
- Relevant social work qualification
- 2 experience in adult social work, including assessment and care planning.
