Job Title: Reparation and Restorative Justice Worker

Location: Havering

Term: 3 months (with opportunity for extension)

Rate: £18.30 PAYE/Umbrella £22-25 dependant on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver practical reparative activities and supervise direct reparation with young people.
  • Collaborate with youth to monitor behaviour while adhering to national and local guidelines.
  • Facilitate restorative justice processes and support victims in their journey towards healing.
  • Conduct victim awareness interventions and gather personal views from crime victims.
  • Attend community panels and appointments, promoting victim involvement and advocacy.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interventions on the Youth Offending Service database.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children and young people in challenging circumstances.
  • Background in restorative justice work or mediation within a criminal justice setting.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging group work programmes.
  • Familiarity with youth justice legislation and court processes.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment protocols.
  • A flexible approach, with availability to work evenings and weekends.
