We are recruiting for a Resettlement Support Worker to join a Housing Association in Southwark, supporting 14 clients across two sites.
THE ROLE
As a Resettlement Support Worker, you will provide housing-related support to vulnerable individuals, ensuring they can maintain their tenancies and access essential services.
- Key working 14 clients across two sites
- Completing assessments and personalised support plans
- Liaising with external agencies, including mental health teams, hospitals, and Adult Social Care (ASC)
- Providing tenancy-related advice and practical support
- Lone working as required within a structured rota
- Monitoring client progress and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting individuals to develop independent living skills and access community resources
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have experience in a supported housing environment and a strong background in resettlement support.
- Previous experience in a similar role within supported housing
- Ability to complete needs assessments and risk management plans
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and housing-related support services
- Experience liaising with external agencies, including social services and healthcare providers
- Strong communication and organisational skills
THE CONTRACT
- This is a 3-month contract, with the potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity.
- Shift pattern includes: Early shift: 7.30am - 3pm; Late shift: 2pm - 10pm; 9-5 shifts.
- The pay rate for the role is 18.19 per hour LTD or 15.51 per hour PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay.
