We are seeking a Safeguarding Officers to join our Safeguarding Department. This role is crucial in ensuring that our safeguarding practices are maintained and adhered to across the campus. The ideal candidates will be proactive and dedicated professionals with a strong background in safeguarding and mental health support for young people.

Day-to-day of the role of a Safeguarding and Safeguarding & Wellbeing Officer:
- Implement and maintain safeguarding practices across the campus.
- Work directly with young people aged 14-19 to assess their needs and provide necessary advice, information, and support.
- Develop strategies to enhance the employability, social, behavioural, and personal skills of students to help them successfully achieve their programme of study.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- Stay updated with key developments in child protection and safeguarding.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Safeguarding & Wellbeing Officer:
- Must be Level 3 Safeguarding and/or Mental Health First Aid trained.
- Demonstrable knowledge of key developments relating to child protection and safeguarding.
- Proven experience of making a positive impact through direct work with young people aged 14-19.
- Experience in developing employability, social, behaviour, and personal skills in young people and adults.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
