Are you a registered nurse or social worker with a passion for safeguarding children and motivated by a challenge of working within a newly developed service? We are seeking professional and dedicated safeguarding advisor to join a talented multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist advice, supervision, training, and support on safeguarding issues to clinical and operational staff within the service
  • Assist other professionals within the service to protect children and young people at risk from harm and abuse.
  • Identifying and supporting children and young people and their families who need additional care
  • Contribute to the on-going development of a robust approach, process and procedures in how the service responds to the need of the children and young people at risk using the service, considering the requirements of national and local safeguarding initiatives

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or Social Worker
  • Evidence of experience in safeguarding children practice processes and working with complex child protection issues
