We are looking to recruit a Senior Practitioner in the No Recourse to Public Funds Team within Hackney. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Senior Practitioner includes:

  • This position is based in our Case Management Team with a specific emphasis on working with people who have No Recourse to Public Funds.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that the data held in Adult Social Care is accurate and clear, identifying updates and any barriers to resolving immigration started.
  • This may involve the completion of Care Act assessments and Human Rights assessments where required.
  • You will also be working with managers in case management to draw up guidance and process documents and implement an action plan to ensure the sustainability of this work.

To ideal candidate will have:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
