Responsibilities include:
- Families Act 2014 to understand the needs, risks, and strengths of children with disabilities.
- Collaborate with families, health professionals, and education providers to gather holistic information
- Manage a caseload of children with a range of disabilities, ensuring regular review and adjustment of care plans.
- Identify and respond to any safeguarding concerns, ensuring that children are protected from harm, abuse, or neglect.
- Advocate on behalf of children and young people to ensure they have a voice in decisions about their care and support
