Job Role

Coordinate, develop and deliver projects across the borough as directed, ensuring that they are effectively set up, maintained, and operated to provide, using a variety of methods centre based, universal and targeted youth activities and programmes, that enable the formal and informal learning and personal and social development of children and young people aged 11 + and up to 25 with SEND

Responsible for ensuring through early planning that a varied offer of fun youth activities and programmes are consistently available for the cohort including, but not limited to, accredited programmes, one-to-one work, group work, volunteering.

Directly line manage staff allocated to the designated projects ensuring that, using the Council's performance development and review scheme, they are regularly supervised, subject to performance monitoring, and that appropriate development and training opportunities are identified for them and addressed.

Responsible to undertake and develop partnership work with key (internal & external) stakeholder organisations and partners i.e., VCS groups, schools, CFC's, Parks for the development of the project and its users.

Responsible for meeting all apportioned performance targets including those relating inputs, activities, outputs, outcomes, and impact; updating data onto the service MIS database and preparing various reports as and when required to verify and evidence delivery and the quality of work being undertaken.

To undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with the grade as determined by the manager and work flexibly as and when required to deliver youth activities and programmes from different designated youth and partner buildings (if required), and during the evenings, weekends, term time and the holiday seasons.
