We are looking for an experienced Child Protection Conference Chair focusing on Child Protection, to join our team on an ongoing interim basis in Catford Rd, London. What you will do:
- Conduct and chair child protection conferences ensuring they adhere to statutory requirements and are effectively coordinated.
- Utilise the Signs of Safety framework to guide meetings and discussions, focusing on the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Facilitate complex multi-agency meetings, ensuring effective collaboration and resolution.
- Engage with families and professionals to gather diverse perspectives and promote clear communication.
- Analyse information to make informed decisions that impact the safety and welfare of children.
- Provide clear and concise reports and written communications as part of assessment and evaluation processes.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Child Protection Conference Chair.
- Demonstrated expertise in the Signs of Safety model and its application in child protection conferences.
- Social work qualification with current Social Work England registration.
- Comprehensive understanding of child protection legislation and procedures.
- Experience managing complex multi-agency meetings.
The successful candidate will have:
