Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Social Work Officer for a Local Authority Client based in North London.

In this role, you will support residents by conducting strengths-based assessments, coordinating care plans, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance their independence and wellbeing.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Manage a non-complex caseload, conduct strengths-based assessments, and support residents in improving independence and wellbeing.
  • Provide support with living aids, welfare benefits, short-term care arrangements, and respite services for carers.
  • Work with residents, carers, and colleagues across health and social care services to gather information, plan support, and attend MDT meetings.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and reports, review care packages, and attend safeguarding strategy meetings when required.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Manage a non-complex caseload, conduct strengths-based assessments, and support residents in improving independence and wellbeing.
  • Provide support with living aids, welfare benefits, short-term care arrangements, and respite services for carers.
  • Work with residents, carers, and colleagues across health and social care services to gather information, plan support, and attend MDT meetings.

What's on offer:

Salary: £19+ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
