About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our specialist team conducting court-directed parenting capacity assessments and delivering expert parenting programmes. You will play a crucial role in evaluating the needs and risks for children and young people in care, those on child protection plans, or those identified as in need.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting parenting assessments within set timeframes.
  • Working collaboratively with parents, children, and professionals to create care plans that ensure the safety and well-being of children.
  • Preparing court statements and providing evidence in court when required.
  • Leading parenting programmes and delivering direct support to children, young people, and families.
  • Conducting specialist assessments, including PAMs and sibling assessments (Together or Apart).

About YouTo excel in this role, you should have experience working with vulnerable children, young people, and their families. You will be familiar with psychodynamic frameworks and skilled in delivering parenting assessments and programmes. Your ability to collaborate with other agencies and lead on specific interventions will ensure the best outcomes for the families you support.
