Our Client Islington Council, is looking for a Social Worker to join their Transitions and Progression to Adulthood Team.

Transitions and Progression to Adulthood Team

  • Social Work with minimum of 2 years experience. Working with Young Adults aged 18-25 who have a learning disability and are Care Act eligible.
  • The role will involve undertaking Care Act Assessments, completing support plans, completing reviews, safeguarding (all statutory work) and case management/oversight that is required.
  • Caseload is 20-25.
  • Flexible working arrangements can be offered but all visits and majority of meetings need to be in person.
  • Need to be in the office around twice a week.

What you need:

  • QSW Status - including qualification, Social Work England registration and completed ASYE
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Right to work in the UK
