About the RoleAs a Social Worker or Senior Social Worker, you will work with children with disabilities and their families to assess needs, develop care plans, and ensure the best possible outcomes. You will work as part of a multi-agency team, liaising with health, education, and community services to provide tailored support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to understand the needs of children with disabilities and their families.
- Develop and implement care and support plans to promote independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with health professionals, schools, and other agencies to coordinate services.
- Ensure safeguarding processes are effectively followed to protect vulnerable children.
- Advocate for children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights upheld.
? A qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.? Experience working with children with disabilities and their families.? Strong knowledge of safeguarding, disability legislation, and best practices.? Excellent assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.? A compassionate and child-centered approach to social work.
