We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Locum Social Worker to join the Referral and Assessment Team in Lewisham. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, making a significant difference in the lives of children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality assessments of children in need and at risk.
- Manage a diverse and complex caseload in accordance with statutory guidelines and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and colleagues to ensure effective interventions and support.
- Produce clear, evidence-based reports and assessments for Child Protection Conferences and court proceedings.
- Participate in duty rota and respond promptly to referrals and crisis situations.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
