Key Responsibilities- Providing first aid and medical assistance to students and staff as required.
- Monitoring and managing students' health needs during school hours, including administering prescribed medication when necessary.
- Supporting students' emotional well-being and referring them to appropriate support services as needed.
- Keeping accurate records of incidents, accidents, and medical interventions in line with school policies.
- Acting as the first point of contact for students requiring welfare support and liaising with parents, staff, and external agencies where appropriate.
- Promoting a safe and caring environment that supports the health and well-being of the school community.
- Valid First Aid certification (essential).
- Previous experience in a welfare, healthcare, or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A genuine commitment to the welfare and well-being of young people.
