QSW-YPS Assessment-Up to £42ph

NonStop Consulting are working with a well established Local Authority in the South East to recruit an experienced Social Worker for an exciting position on the Young Person Services team. This service is taking a new, modern approach to social care work & offering hybrid working capabilities and a very competitive rate of pay.

This team is offering a hybrid way of working, less time in the office & more spent in the comfort of your own home, allowing for a greater work-life balance.

This team is taking a new approach to Social Work, capping caseloads at 10, allowing you to prioritise & spend extra time building relationships with those under your care, allowing you to ensure the best possible outcome for children and young people in need, increasing work satisfaction.

The Role:

  • Carrying out initial assessments reviews for young people.
  • Organising Family support & support for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Working with Child Protection, LAC, Edge of Care & MET.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work & registered with Social Work England.
  • An up to date DBS check.
  • Experience working with young people, safeguarding children, end of care or looked after children & carrying out initial assessments.
