The Role - Youth Mentor
We require a Youth Mentor to join a fast paced PRU to support students who with SEMH and Challenging Behaviour. For this Youth Mentor role you must have a calm and proactive approach and be able to confidently support students on a 1:1 basis as well as calmly and effectively diffuse situations should a challenging situation arise. To be a successful Youth Mentor you must be a confident Youth Mentor with strong behaviour management skills and have an empathetic approach.
The School - Youth Mentor
This PRU is located in Newham and caters for 96 students between the ages of 7 and 19 who have SEMH and Challenging Behaviour. This PRU was recently graded as 'Good' in their recent Ofsted inspection and is easily accessible from all points of London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking PRU as a Youth Mentor and beyond!
